Reviews from the owner’s side of the table.
Studio 53 reviews the tools owners actually use — tested on real listings, not press kits.
We are hosts first, reviewers second. We would rather save you the expensive way of finding out yourself.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Plain language. We write like we talk at a turnover: plainly, and to the point.
- We fix our mistakes. Errors get corrected quickly and visibly — flag one and watch.
- Owner-side, always. We score what a tool does for the person paying for it, not the one selling it.
What we cover
Owners face two separate decisions, so the site runs two tracks: 94 management-company reviews feeding a ranking of who we would trust with keys, and 74 software reviews feeding a ranking for owners who automate and keep the margin. Each review lays out the provider’s own published facts — fees or pricing, markets, scale, PMS requirements — and where a figure is not public, the page says “not published” instead of guessing.
The business model
The site carries no advertising and takes no affiliate commissions; positions, scores and mentions are not products. A recommendation here is editorial judgement and nothing else — the reasoning lives in our editorial policy.
The honest limits
This is a review desk — not a brokerage, a law office or an accounting firm. Ratings are informed opinion, prices move faster than any publication, and your market has its own physics — verify current terms with the provider and read the disclaimer.
